  • Recruit, train, and mentor a field sales team of at least ten representatives to ensure consistent performance.
  • Monitor daily sales data from partner shops and adjust tactics to overcome bottlenecks in customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with phone retail partners to secure prime placement for financing offers.
  • Conduct weekly field visits to observe customer interactions and provide real-time coaching on product features and payment plans.
  • Prepare and submit detailed performance reports highlighting conversion rates, default risks, and market feedback.
  • Coordinate with credit risk analysts to review applicant profiles and approve financing within established guidelines.
  • Organize promotional events and awareness campaigns in high-traffic areas to boost brand visibility and lead generation.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ugandan university.
  • Minimum of three years of progressive sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics, telecom, or fintech sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a field sales team in a competitive Ugandan market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence partners and motivate direct reports without authority.
  • Excellent numeracy and data interpretation skills to analyze sales metrics and identify growth opportunities.

Desirable

  • Postgraduate diploma or MBA in business management would be a significant advantage for strategic planning.
  • Experience with mobile money platforms such as MTN MoMo or Airtel Money in a sales or distribution role.
  • Familiarity with credit scoring models and consumer lending regulations in East Africa.
  • Fluency in Luganda or other local Ugandan languages to enhance community engagement and partner relations.

What the Role Offers

  • Competitive monthly salary ranging from one million to one point five million Ugandan shillings based on performance.
  • Company-provided smartphone and data bundle to facilitate daily communication and sales tracking.
  • Transport allowance covering fuel and maintenance for company-assigned motorcycle or vehicle for field visits.
  • Comprehensive health insurance covering inpatient and outpatient care for you and your immediate family members.
  • Structured career progression plan with quarterly performance reviews and opportunities for promotion to regional manager.
