Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their specific insurance needs and financial goals through detailed consultations.
• Prospect and grow your professional network by identifying new business opportunities in the Kampala market.
• Explain various insurance products including life, general, and micro insurance options to potential customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure policy renewals and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to the overall branch and company objectives.
• Provide comprehensive training and coaching to new team members as part of team development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities in company systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new product offerings through continuous learning.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Minimum of a Diploma in any field from a recognized institution of higher learning in Uganda.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.
• Basic computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive insurance product training provided by CIC Insurance Uganda.

Desirable

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or financial services roles within Uganda.
• Knowledge of insurance products and the regulatory environment governing the insurance sector.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for client meetings across Kampala.
• Fluency in English and Luganda or other local languages to better serve diverse communities.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets in previous roles through self-motivation and dedication.
