  • Minimum eight years of progressive marketing experience, including at least three years in a senior brand management or head of department role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies that increased market share, brand equity and customer loyalty for media or consumer-facing businesses.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams of creatives, analysts, trade marketing professionals and external agencies to achieve brand objectives and budgets.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, capable of interpreting market research, consumer insights and performance metrics to inform strategic brand decisions and competitive analysis.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering pitches to senior executives, clients and stakeholders in high-pressure environments and securing buy-in for brand initiatives.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited institution, preferably with a focus on brand management and strategic marketing.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced media environment with exposure to TV, digital, radio and print platforms, including campaign production and audience measurement and performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Nielsen, Kantar or Brandwatch, and experience using insights to shape brand strategy.
  • Knowledge of brand valuation methodologies, including equity measurement, brand strength models and return on brand investment calculations to support financial planning and investor reporting.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and secure high-value partnerships, sponsorships and media buying agreements that enhance brand reach and deliver measurable ROI while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams through end-to-end brand initiatives from concept to execution and post-campaign evaluation and continuous improvement.
