Job Overview

The Sales Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in strengthening customer relationships and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. The position focuses on proactive follow-up, exceptional support, and identifying growth opportunities within the existing client base. Candidates must be highly organized, communicative, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular follow-ups with existing customers to ensure their packaging needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate timely order fulfillment by liaising between sales, production, and logistics teams to prevent delays.
• Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback with empathy and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling by analyzing customer purchase patterns and trends.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation in the company’s CRM system for reporting and analysis.
• Prepare weekly sales activity reports and present key metrics to the Sales Manager for strategic decision-making.
• Assist in organizing customer visits, product demonstrations, and promotional events to strengthen client engagement.
• Stay updated on competitor offerings and market developments to provide actionable insights for the sales team.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, sales support, or account management within a manufacturing or packaging industry.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Luganda, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proven track record of maintaining customer relationships, resolving conflicts, and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.

Desirable

• Certification in customer relationship management (CRM) or sales training programs such as those offered by the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with knowledge of corrugated packaging production processes.
• Fluency in additional local languages such as Runyankore, Ateso, or Lugish to broaden client outreach.
• Previous experience using sales automation tools like HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights for business growth.

• Competitive monthly salary of UGX 1,800,000 to UGX 2,500,000 based on experience and performance, paid on a monthly basis.
