Car Sales Personnel

Job Overview

KABEX MOTORS LTD is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Car Sales Personnel to join our growing team in Kampala. This is a full-time role where you will represent one of Uganda’s leading car importation and dealership firms. You will work directly with clients who are looking to purchase new or pre-owned vehicles from our showroom. The successful candidate will be the face of our brand, guiding customers through the entire purchasing journey from initial inquiry to final handover of the keys. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are motivated by the potential to earn significant commissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome potential customers at the showroom with professional and friendly greetings.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory including specifications, pricing, and financing options.
• Conduct test drives with interested buyers while ensuring safety and showcasing vehicle features effectively.
• Negotiate sales terms and close deals by addressing customer concerns and objections confidently.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for vehicle registration, insurance, and transfer of ownership.
• Follow up with leads and maintain regular contact with prospective buyers through phone calls and emails.
• Achieve monthly sales targets set by management while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Provide post-sale support and build long-term relationships with customers for future referrals and repeat business.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• A minimum of a Diploma in any field of study from a recognized institution in Uganda.
• Proven experience in sales roles, preferably within the automotive industry or customer-facing positions.
• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to persuade and influence customers effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills with the capacity to handle objections and close deals under pressure.
• Customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to help people find the right vehicle solution.
• Availability to work full-time hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Desirable

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field would be an added advantage.
• Previous experience specifically in car dealership sales roles within the Ugandan market.
• Familiarity with vehicle financing options and relationships with local banks for loan processing.
• Knowledge of Ugandan road traffic regulations and vehicle registration procedures with the Uganda Revenue Authority.
• Basic computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management software.
