The role requires strong organisational skills and a commitment to educational equity.
The successful candidate will assist in managing project timelines, monitoring vendor performance and maintaining accurate records in line with British Council policies. - Monitor vendor and supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of training materials and services according to agreed standards.
- Assist in collecting, verifying and analysing programme data for reporting and evaluation purposes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support budget tracking in compliance with British Council financial procedures.
- Facilitate communication between the British Council, delivery partners and government education officials.
- Help organise training workshops and events for teachers and education stakeholders across target districts.
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports, case studies and learning documents for internal and external audiences.
- Identify and escalate risks or delays in programme implementation to the project manager in a timely manner.

- A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Social Sciences or a related field from a recognised institution.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience preparing reports and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management and Word for documentation.
- Experience working with government partners, NGOs or private sector organisations in Uganda’s education sector.

- A postgraduate qualification in Education, Project Management or International Development.
- Previous experience working with the British Council or other international cultural relations organisations.
