  • Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery, coordinate promotional activities, and provide effective after‑sales support that enhances customer loyalty.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and community events to promote Sunda Uganda’s brand, generate new leads, and strengthen relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff on product knowledge, negotiation techniques, and customer service standards to uplift team performance and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of two years proven sales experience in hardware, tyre, or related consumer goods sectors, demonstrating ability to achieve targets and build client relationships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proven ability to persuade clients, handle objections, and close deals effectively in competitive market environments.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven professional capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve sales goals and exceed performance expectations.
  • Valid Ugandan driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions for client visits, ensuring timely service delivery and market coverage.

Desirable

  • Previous experience selling tyre products or hardware accessories, demonstrating familiarity with industry trends, customer preferences, and effective sales techniques in diverse markets.
  • Certificate or diploma in sales, marketing, business administration, or a related field from a recognised institution, showing commitment to professional development.
  • Fluency in English and Luganda, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases across Uganda and enhancing relationship building with local communities.

What the Role Offers

  • Competitive monthly salary plus performance‑based commissions that reward exceeding sales targets, providing financial motivation and recognition for outstanding performance and growth.
  • Company‑provided transport allowance and fuel reimbursement for field visits across Uganda, ensuring mobility and reducing out‑of‑pocket expenses for sales activities.
  • Access to ongoing training programs, workshops, and certifications to enhance sales and product expertise, keeping staff updated on industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Health insurance coverage, annual leave, and public holiday benefits in line with Ugandan labour regulations, supporting employee well‑being and work‑life balance.
