Paint and Sip Uganda is seeking talented and enthusiastic mixologists to join our creative hospitality team in Kyambogo. As a mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting innovative cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages that complement our unique experience.

You will work closely with our team to ensure every guest receives exceptional service and memorable drink presentations. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, has a flair for creativity, and thrives in a customer-focused setting. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Create innovative cocktail specials that align with seasonal themes and promotional events at the venue.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and work surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies, and assist in placing orders when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging guests, answering questions, and making personalized drink recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after events or shifts.
• Collaborate with the events team to support paint and sip sessions with timely beverage service.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience as a mixologist or bartender in a hospitality setting, preferably in Uganda.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and presentation standards for cocktails and mocktails.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash, processing payments, and managing bar tabs accurately.

Desirable

• Formal training in mixology, hospitality, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience working in creative or entertainment venues such as art studios, galleries, or event spaces.
• Knowledge of local Ugandan spirits and ingredients that can be incorporated into unique drink offerings.
• An art background or interest in painting and creative activities is considered an added advantage.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
