- Create training curricula and facilitation guides for parent volunteers and community workers using evidence-based early learning principles.
- Manage the planning, delivery, and evaluation of workshops, trainings, and capacity-building sessions across multiple districts.
- Support the adaptation of learning materials to local languages and cultural contexts in Uganda, Ethiopia, and The Gambia.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, observations, and performance data.
- Coordinate with technical advisors to ensure learning content reflects current best practices in early childhood development.
- Maintain training records, track participation rates, and report on learning outcomes to senior management and donors.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to field staff and trainers to improve facilitation skills and program delivery quality.
Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related social science field.
- Minimum of five years progressive experience in learning and development, training management, or HR roles within NGOs or development organizations.
- Proven experience designing and delivering adult learning programs, particularly in low-resource or community-based settings.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical training content.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience working across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Desirable
- Master’s degree in Education, HR, or International Development with a focus on early learning or capacity building.
- Experience working with government education systems or supporting public-sector program integration.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks for training programs in developing country contexts.
- Knowledge of Ugandan education policies and community structures, particularly in rural areas.
- Ability to speak one or more local Ugandan languages to enhance training accessibility and engagement.

- Opportunity to work on innovative, scalable solutions that improve early childhood development outcomes for thousands of children.
- Professional growth through exposure to international programs in Uganda, Ethiopia, and The Gambia with potential for regional collaboration.
- Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, transport allowance, and leave entitlements aligned with NGO sector standards in Uganda.
