The roles are based across all eight branches, offering wide geographic reach and local impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to boost brand visibility and drive sales growth across assigned regions.
  • Lead a team of sales specialists, setting clear targets, monitoring performance, and providing regular coaching and feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand market share and retention rates.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats in each branch territory.
  • Manage promotional campaigns, digital outreach, and local events to generate qualified leads and convert them into sales.
  • Report monthly on key performance indicators, including revenue, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Coordinate with head office to align regional initiatives with national brand strategies and messaging standards.
  • Mentor junior sales staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a recognised Ugandan institution.
  • At least two years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Luganda or local dialects relevant to the branch locations.
  • Strong self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independently while delivering results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic CRM tools for tracking leads, pipelines, and customer interactions.
  • Flexibility to travel between branches as needed and to adapt to changing market conditions and priorities.

Desirable

  • Previous experience managing a sales team or leading regional marketing initiatives in Uganda or East Africa.
  • Certification in digital marketing, sales training, or project management from a recognised body such as Google, HubSpot, or PMI.
  • Familiarity with local media channels, community engagement strategies, and grassroots marketing techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Experience working in logistics, telecom, or retail sectors, particularly in rural or semi-urban Ugandan markets.

What the Role Offers

  • Competitive monthly remuneration package with performance-based bonuses tied to individual and team targets.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage for you and your immediate family, including outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Monthly transport allowance to cover travel between branches and client sites, plus fuel reimbursement for work-related trips.
  • Free lunch provided at branch offices during working days, with dietary options accommodated upon request.
  • Access to professional training programs, mentorship from senior leadership, and clear pathways for career advancement within the organisation.
