  • Develop and implement location-specific sales strategies to identify new business opportunities and meet monthly targets.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Field Agents through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure daily and weekly route plans are completed and tracked within the CRM system with 100% compliance.
  • Book and convert customer appointments consistently, following up on leads generated from MOU agreements.
  • Enforce company policies and data management standards across all team activities in the field.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field from a recognized Ugandan university.
  • At least 3 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in financial services, microfinance, or salary-linked lending products.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a team leadership or field sales role within Uganda.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with institutional stakeholders and manage a remote team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Luganda or other local Ugandan languages for field engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software for activity tracking and reporting.

Desirable

  • Diploma or certification in Sales Management, Leadership, or Financial Services from a recognized institution.
  • Experience working with salary deduction systems or payroll-integrated credit solutions in East Africa.
  • Previous experience managing a field sales team in rural or semi-urban Ugandan locations.
  • Knowledge of Ugandan labor laws and employer-employee financial arrangements related to salary advances.
  • Active driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions across Uganda.

What the Role Offers

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses tied to team and individual targets.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage for the employee and immediate family members.
  • Monthly transport allowance and meal subsidies to support field work across Uganda.
  • Opportunities for professional development through internal training programs and external certifications.
