You will collaborate with program teams to capture authentic stories and translate them into engaging multimedia assets that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Develop a monthly content calendar that outlines themes, formats, and publishing dates for all social channels.
- Film, edit, and publish short videos that highlight campus events, community projects, and beneficiary stories.
- Design eye-catching graphics using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools for posts, stories, and ads.
- Write engaging captions and hashtags that encourage interaction and increase reach on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Applicants are encouraged to showcase their creativity through a portfolio that highlights their ability to produce consistent, high-quality output across different formats.
Essential
- At least one year of hands-on experience creating social media content, including video, graphics, or photography for personal, freelance, volunteer, or professional projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve to produce polished short clips.
- Strong graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop to develop visuals that meet brand guidelines.
- Excellent written communication abilities, capable of crafting clear, engaging captions and hashtags that resonate with target audiences.
While the essential criteria are mandatory, having additional qualifications can strengthen your application and increase your chances of selection.
Desirable
- Experience managing social media accounts for NGOs, educational institutions, or community‑based organizations.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, or Twitter Analytics to track performance.
- Knowledge of basic SEO principles and how to apply them to social media posts for improved discoverability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and coordinating with remote team members.
Having experience with graphic design animation tools such as After Effects can add extra dynamism to video content, making it more engaging for viewers.
Candidates who possess these desirable traits often adapt quickly to the role and contribute innovative ideas to the team’s content strategy.
