Job Overview
World Trumpet Mission is seeking a competent Administrator to join our team at Nations Prayer Mountain in Seguku, Uganda. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions and supporting our mission’s objectives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and deeply committed to our values.
The Administrator will report directly to the leadership team and will be responsible for managing daily office operations, coordinating schedules, and facilitating communication across departments. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency and professionalism within our organization as we continue to grow and serve our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations including scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and coordinating administrative tasks.
- Prepare and distribute official correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for events, conferences, and mission activities at Nations Prayer Mountain and other locations.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, contributions, and financial transactions for reporting purposes.
- Facilitate communication between departments and ensure timely dissemination of important information.
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment, supplies, and facilities to ensure a productive work environment.
- Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, onboarding, and orientation for new staff members.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all administrative functions.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Administration, Management, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience in a non-profit, religious organization, or similar setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for efficient document management.
Desirable
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline would be an added advantage.
- Experience working in a faith-based organization or international mission setting in Uganda or East Africa.
- Certification in project management, office administration, or related professional development courses.
- Familiarity with church governance structures, ecclesiastical administration, or community outreach programs.
- Knowledge of local Ugandan administrative regulations, labor laws, and non-profit compliance requirements.
