Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Visit healthcare facilities and laboratories in upcountry areas to promote Cerba Lancet’s diagnostic services and build client trust.
- Gather client feedback on service quality and turnaround times, reporting insights to the sales and business development teams.
- Identify potential new clients and business opportunities through market visits and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the resolution of client complaints or service issues by coordinating with technical and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate records of client visits, interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
- Assist in organizing and participating in medical outreach programs and client education initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards during all client engagements.
- Prepare weekly activity reports and monthly performance summaries for supervisory review.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, or a closely related scientific field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in client relations, sales support, or customer service within the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
- Valid Class A Driving Permit and demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely in diverse upcountry road conditions.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work remotely in upcountry locations for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, for reporting and communication.
Desirable
- Previous experience working with medical laboratories, hospitals, or diagnostic service providers in Uganda.
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Training in customer service excellence, sales fundamentals, or healthcare ethics.
- Fluency in English and one or more local languages commonly spoken in upcountry regions such as Luganda, Runyankole, or Ateso.
- Experience in preparing service proposals or participating in tender processes for institutional clients.
