Deli Group is expanding its sales operations in Uganda and seeks six motivated Field Sales Representatives to drive growth in the stationery and office supplies market. This role requires extensive fieldwork, including regular visits to businesses, institutions and corporate accounts throughout Kampala and surrounding areas. Representatives will promote Deli Group’s product range, identify new business opportunities and manage existing customer portfolios. The position demands self-motivation, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of stationery and office supplies products within assigned geographical territories in Kampala and surrounding regions.
- Identify and develop new customer accounts including businesses, educational institutions and corporate offices through proactive prospecting.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers by conducting regular follow-up visits and addressing their evolving needs.
- Conduct scheduled field visits to promote product ranges, demonstrate features and secure orders directly from clients.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management while contributing to overall business growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and changing customer preferences to inform sales strategies and product recommendations.
- Support efficient product distribution by coordinating with logistics teams and ensuring timely delivery to customer locations.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly sales reports, maintain updated customer databases and submit timely market intelligence to supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Minimum two years of proven sales experience in the Ugandan market with demonstrable results in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Mandatory previous experience specifically selling stationery and office supplies products to businesses, institutions or corporate clients.
- Strong working knowledge of the stationery and office supplies market in Uganda including key products, pricing structures and customer preferences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with proven negotiation abilities to close deals effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, travel extensively within Kampala region and maintain high productivity in field conditions.
Desirable
- Established network of customer contacts within Kampala’s business community particularly in education, corporate and government sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tracking tools to manage customer interactions and sales pipelines efficiently.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles to support accurate stock forecasting and replenishment recommendations.
- Additional language skills in Luganda or other local languages to enhance communication with diverse customer bases across Uganda.
- Experience in sales training or mentoring junior team members demonstrating leadership potential for future growth opportunities.
