- Document all inspection findings accurately in Tugende’s digital tracking system, including photos, test results, and compliance certificates for audit purposes.
- Prepare assets for customer disbursement by ensuring they are fully equipped, cleaned, fueled where applicable, and ready for immediate use by clients.
- Support branch business growth by assisting sales teams during customer onboarding, demonstrating asset features, and addressing technical inquiries professionally.
- Maintain workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear in optimal condition through regular calibration, cleaning, and proper storage procedures.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to schedule asset movements between branches, ensuring timely availability for disbursement based on customer demand forecasts.

- Proven ability to use diagnostic tools, torque wrenches, multimeters, and inspection checklists to assess mechanical and electrical systems accurately.
- Valid Ugandan driver’s license for motorcycles and light vehicles, with a clean riding record and familiarity with Kampala and upcountry routes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols, quality standards, and documentation procedures without supervision.
Desirable
- Experience working with asset finance companies, microfinance institutions, or SME-focused organizations in Uganda or East Africa.
- Familiarity with Tugende’s asset portfolio including motorcycles, smartphones, solar systems, and other income-generating equipment.
- Basic knowledge of digital inventory management systems and experience entering data into CRM or ERP platforms accurately.
- Training in occupational health and safety, first aid, or fire prevention, demonstrating commitment to workplace safety culture.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to support peak disbursement periods and branch opening schedules.
What the Role Offers
- Competitive monthly salary aligned with industry standards for technical roles in Uganda’s growing asset finance and technology sectors.
- Company-provided motorcycle for work-related travel between branches, complete with fuel, maintenance, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
- Monthly lunch and transport allowances to support daily commuting and meal expenses while performing field duties across Kampala and surrounding areas.
- Access to Tugende’s comprehensive health insurance plan covering outpatient, inpatient, and maternity care for employees and their registered dependents.
