Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new corporate clients through targeted prospecting and market research to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in corporate organizations to ensure repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client needs and industry requirements.
  • Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline by tracking leads, follow-ups, and conversion rates using CRM tools.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and negotiation techniques.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, negotiations, and customer conversions to ensure timely closure and post-sale satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records in the ERP/CRM system to support reporting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports for management review to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Credit, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Represent the company professionally at corporate engagements, exhibitions, meetings, and business development events.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or corporate sales roles with measurable results.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and successfully developing new business opportunities in competitive markets.
  • Strong corporate client acquisition and relationship management skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and persuade diverse audiences.
  • Good understanding of the Ugandan business and corporate market including key industries, regulations, and economic trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to work efficiently with CRM/ERP systems for sales tracking.

Desirable

  • Experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry is an added advantage for faster onboarding and product knowledge.
  • Valid driving licence is beneficial for client visits and field-based sales activities across different regions.
  • Prior exposure to ERP or CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho enhances technical readiness.
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics tools improves planning accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Ugandan tax regulations and invoicing practices supports compliance in corporate transactions.
